Work begins at Hayfield Homes’ first development at Tiddington Home Guard Club

Work has started on site at Hayfield Homes’ first development in Tiddington, near Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire. The development, Hayfield Chase, will comprise of 32 homes, on the north easterly edge of the village with views across the open countryside to the rear.
The site is situated at the Tiddington Home Guard Club and as part of the development, Hayfield Homes will relocate the Home Guard Club from its Main Street site to a brand new £1.5million purpose-built complex.

Hayfield Chase will occupy four acres of the 12-acre site on Main Street and the remainder of the land will be retained by the Home Guard Club.

The new complex will include the upgrade of the Home Guard Club and sports facilities as well as upgraded changing rooms, café kiosk, bar and function rooms and a scout hut and brownie hut. The grounds will also be redeveloped to provide improved football playing fields, a rugby training ground and a cycle track.

The Home Guard Club has been a valuable community organisation for decades and we have needed new premises for many years. We look forward to the work being completed by the end of the year.”

Tiddington is just over a mile from Stratford town centre and has the River Avon to the north and farmland to the south east and west. The site is located within walking distance of the village centre and local amenities.
