A flurry of sales at Hayfield Views in Great Bourton has left only five properties remaining for sale out of a total of 43. Developer Hayfield has won ‘Best Family Home Outside of London Under £750,000’ for the stunning scheme at the recent Evening Standard New Homes Awards 2019.

The last remaining homes at Hayfield Views include the five-bedroom Cropredy, which is a luxuriously spacious property, priced from £575,000. Also available is the three-bedroom Wroxton design, which features a large kitchen/diner, French windows leading into the garden from the living room, an en-suite off the master bedroom and a garage. The Wroxton home is priced from £335,000 and qualifies for the Government’s Help-to-Buy initiative.

The Harris family has recently moved into a Wroxton home at Hayfield Views. Stephen Harris said: “We have two young children and had outgrown our former home, which was a small traditional cottage.    We hadn’t originally considered buying a newly built property but were swayed by the high standards of construction and all the creature comforts that Hayfield have put into these homes. The driveway for two cars, underfloor heating, range of integrated appliances, and also the practicalities of having an ensuite and a family bathroom made our minds up that this home was right for us.

“Now that we have moved in, we really do feel that we have got the best of both worlds. It is a lovely picturesque and peaceful village that enables me to work at home without disruption. We love going for family walks in the countryside and the local pub – The Bell Inn – has got a family-friendly beer garden and even has pet rabbits! It’s such a lovely location to raise our young family.”

With the development nearing completion, a flourishing community has already been established at Hayfield Views, which is located off Main Street on the edge of the peaceful Oxfordshire village of Great Bourton. The village is very popular with commuters, as Banbury Train Station is located only 4.7 miles away and can be reached by car in under 10 minutes. Fast train services take passengers to London in under an hour and to Oxford in under 20 minutes.

Hayfield’s signature attention to detail is visible throughout each home at Hayfield Views. Features include the bespoke kitchens with glazed wall units and curved cabinets, Roca bathroom suites, underfloor heating and luxury bi-fold doors leading into a private garden.

Harriet Dickson, Sales Manager at Hayfield, said, “The Government’s Help-to-Buy initiative can be used to purchase a Wroxton home, which means that purchasers only need to secure a mortgage for 75 per cent of the £335,000 asking price. A five per cent deposit is required, with the remaining 20 per cent able to be funded by a Government loan. This initiative ensures that a Wroxton home is within reach of more first time buyers. However, with only three Wroxton homes left at Hayfield Views, time is of the essence for vying purchasers to secure their preferred plot.”

The show home at Hayfield Views is open daily from 10am – 5pm and has been decorated by renowned interior design consultancy, Claude Hooper.
