The first batch of homes at Hayfield Grange in the market town of Southam, Warwickshire have been snapped up by first and second time buyers, keen to take advantage of the enviable schooling options.

The luxury development of 51 two, three and four-bedroom homes is located just a short walk from the vibrant High Street and play area, as well as Southam Primary, which is a feeder school for the Ofsted Outstanding-rated Southam College.

Award-winning developer Hayfield currently has a range of three and four-bedroom houses on the market, ranging in price from £325,000 to £440,000. All of the homes on the development are eligible for the Government’s Help-to-Buy initiative, which enables purchasers to buy a new home with just a five per cent deposit. 20 per cent of the sales price can be covered by a Government loan, with a homeowner mortgage required for 75 per cent of the value.

Sarah and Neil Campbell were the first residents to move into Hayfield Grange. They bought a four-bedroom Hallow home via Hayfield’s Part-Exchange programme. Sarah Campbell said: “We were keen to move to Southam because of schooling choices for our little boy. It’s always been our dream to move to a new home where everything was perfectly finished, but we didn’t think it would be in our price range.

“When we looked around Hayfield Grange we were really surprised to find out that an impressive four-bedroom detached home was within our budget. We were offered Part-Exchange, which we knew would take so much of the hassle out of moving. To be honest, we couldn’t reserve quick enough!

“This is such a high quality development and the shops, restaurants, schools and play area for our little boy are within walking distance. There are lots of community events that take place in Southam, so we’re looking forward to getting to know more of the locals.”

A few days after the Campbell family moved in, Hayfield arranged for their handyman to spend a day at the property fixing blinds, curtains, shelving, pictures and mirrors. The service is provided to all purchasers as part of Hayfield’s Customer Service programme and is really appreciated as a way of making a new house feel like a home while boxes are still being unpacked.

Maddie Robinson, Sales Manager at Hayfield, said, “There is huge demand for quality homes within the price range of first and second time buyers, who are often under-catered for and frequently find themselves priced out of the most desirable residential areas. We have designed Hayfield Grange to appeal to those who want to live in a beautiful new home in the market town of Southam, which is within easy reach of Leamington Spa, Warwick, Stratford-upon-Avon and Banbury.”

Hayfield’s signature attention to detail is visible throughout each home at Hayfield Grange. Features include the bespoke Symphony kitchens with glazed wall units, Roca bathroom suites, Porcelanosa ceramic floor and wall tiles, wardrobes by Hammonds, Farrow and Ball paint to woodwork, and turfed front and rear private gardens. In recognition of Hayfield’s commitment to quality and design, it has recently won ‘Best Family Home Outside of London Under £750,000’ at the Evening Standard New Homes Awards 2019.

The show home at Hayfield Grange is open daily from 10am – 5pm and has been decorated by renowned interior design consultancy, Claude Hooper.

Hayfield Grange is located at Manders Croft, Watton’s Lane, Southam, Warwickshire, CV47 0HZ. The development is seven miles from Royal Leamington Spa, 10 miles from Rugby and 15 miles from Stratford Upon Avon.
