Award-winning sustainable housebuilder launches South Cambridgeshire scheme

Five-star award winning and premium housebuilder Hayfield has launched a new 44-home development in Over, Cambridgeshire.

The 7-acre scheme, called Hayfield Lodge, comprises 44 homes built to the highest energy efficiency rating of EPC A, and includes two-bedroom bungalows and two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom houses.

All homes for sale will benefit from being zero carbon ready thanks to Hayfield’s as-standard eco specification. This includes solar PV panels, air source heat pumps, underfloor heating, and fast charging points for electric vehicles.

Hayfield’s sustainability-focused design principles ensure the homes also exceed the government’s Future Homes Standard – a level of specification that will be mandatory for housebuilders to meet from 2025.

The £20m scheme has been designed to enhance the land’s existing green space and biodiversity. Hayfield will also deliver a full-size football pitch as a new local sports provision for the Over community.

Traditional Cambridgeshire red and buff brick will be used throughout Hayfield Lodge to ensure the homes are in keeping with the look and feel of Over’s existing properties, whilst featuring Hayfield’s signature design detail.

Hayfield Lodge is launching off plan on Friday 8th September from Carter Jonas office on Histon Road, Arbury, Cambridge CB4 3BF. Appointments are being made on a first come, first served basis, enabling buyers to choose their preferred home.
