Award-winning housebuilder Hayfield has donated £500 to the Elisabeth Curtis Centre in Bromham, a member of the Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA).
Hayfield, ‘WhatHouse? Housebuilder of the Year', is building a luxury development of 80 zero-carbon ready homes at Hayfield Park and recently unveiled its striking new detached four-bedroom three-bathroom show home.
Shelley West, Regional Sales Director at Hayfield, said: “It is important to us here at Hayfield that we give something back to the communities in which we build, and The Elisabeth Curtis Centre seemed such a worthy cause.
“We know that like many charities the centre was hit hard by the pandemic, and we were delighted to be able to take up a Silver Rosette Sponsorship of one of the stables as part of the Buy-a-Brick initiative, especially as so many of us at Hayfield are pony mad.”
The Elisabeth Curtis Centre is a purpose-built riding centre that provides disabled participants with therapy, fitness and skills development through the use of horses and ponies. It was opened in 1983 by HRH The Princess Royal, President of the RDA.
Trustee at the Centre, Al Barnes, said: “We are so grateful to Hayfield for supporting us with a level of sponsorship from our aptly named Buy-a-Brick fundraising scheme.
“We are proud that we were able to keep all our horses and the Centre under care and maintenance during the pandemic lockdowns, but this came at significant cost and with no income. Since then, we have worked hard to be able to welcome back nearly all our participant riders to riding sessions, but we have many more on a waiting list that we would like to help as soon as we can facilitate.
“To do this we need new coaches, volunteers and of course funding - which is why the amazing sponsorship support from Hayfield will be significant in helping us achieve our aims.”
Hayfield Park is a stunning development of two, three and four-bedroom homes thoughtfully designed around a public open space and fully equipped children’s play area.
All homes feature a high-quality eco-specification including air source heat pumps, energy-efficient underfloor heating, the smartest electric vehicle fast-charging points available and ultra-fast broadband maximising efficiency and sustainability while keeping running costs to a minimum.
All rooms are wired for Sky and Freeview TV distribution, Farrow & Ball paint is used on the downstairs woodwork and Ring doorbells are fitted to every home.
Prices range from £450,000 to £720,000.
Hayfield Park can be found on Stagsden Road, Bromham. For more details about the development, or to make an appointment to view the new show home, contact the sales office on 0800 161 4448 or visit the website at www.hayfieldhomes.co.uk
