For the fourth year running, Hayfield has been shortlisted in the national Housebuilder Awards. The rapidly growing Solihull-headquartered business is a finalist in two coveted categories for 2022.
Hayfield has been announced as a finalist in the Best Marketing Initiative category for the second year running. The six-year-old company has also made the shortlist for Best Staff Development Award for its wellbeing programme.
Hayfield is a previous winner of Best Small Housebuilder, which is a category decided upon entirely by merit by the Housebuilder Awards’ judging panel with no nomination or entry process. The winners of the 2022 Awards will be revealed at a glittering ceremony on Thursday 10th November at InterContinental London – The O2. The event will bring the industry together and showcase the best of the best in a year that has seen a mix of challenges and changes, together with consistent high consumer demand for eco-efficient new homes.
Andy Morris, Managing Director for Hayfield said: “We are delighted to be a finalist in two Housebuilder Award categories this year, which showcase the wide-ranging accomplishments of our team. It really is pleasing that the judges have selected Hayfield – an SME – alongside a number of major housebuilders.
“Over the past few years, we have revamped and elevated our brand, to best reflect the distinctiveness of our zero carbon ready homes. A key part of this has been our social media presence. The #MyHayfieldHome campaign that has been shortlisted in the fiercely contested Best Marketing Initiative category, has seen us become the UK housebuilder with the greatest following on both TikTok and Instagram.
“Being included in the four-strong shortlist for Best Staff Development Award marks the first time we have received national recognition for our wellbeing programme, which supports and nurtures all our office and site-based personnel through a range of innovative initiatives. Although there are four months to wait until the award ceremony, the excitement is already building.”
Hayfield will deliver around 350 premium family houses and bungalows across middle England this year, to achieve a 2022 turnover figure of circa £150m. Its live development portfolio currently comprises nine sites in affluent semi-rural and edge of town settings across Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire, Wiltshire and Worcestershire.
Hayfield is the current WhatHouse? Best Housebuilder of the Year, having also won Gold and Bronze accolades at the high profile awards ceremony, held last November. Hayfield also won Best Family Home at the 2021 First Time Buyer Readers’ Awards, held last autumn.
