Hayfield has appointed Wesley Keane in the newly created role of Area Commercial Director. He will be based at Hayfield’s Milton Keynes office to support the growing needs of the multi award-winning business.
Wesley Keane joins from Dandara, where he was Head of Commercial, which involved the effective management of all commercial related functions for the business. Prior to that, he was a Managing Surveyor for Lovell Partnerships, where he was responsible for contracts with values of between £10m to £55m. Wesley has also previously worked as a Senior Quantity Surveyor for Howarth Homes PLC, and as a Quantity Surveyor for Barratt Homes (North London). Mr Keane has accumulated 17 years’ experience in the housebuilding and construction industry.
Jon Jones, Commercial Director for Hayfield said: “Covid, the delays caused by the blockage to the Suez Canal last year, and Brexit, has caused a multitude of complexities for housebuilders, which need to be carefully managed by commercial teams. With the recent conclusion of our 2021 financial year, the time is right for us to expand the team with this senior appointment. I am delighted to welcome Wesley, especially given the strength and breadth of experience he has to offer.”
Wesley Keane is highly experienced in planning, developing, and implementing commercial strategies based on company goals and objectives, with the main goal to support and accelerate Hayfield’s growth plans during 2022 and beyond.
Wesley Keane, Area Commercial Director for Hayfield said: “Hayfield has developed a very enviable reputation, with a number of recent successes, such as the WhatHouse? Housebuilder of the Year Award. It is clear to see that the company has a very loyal and progressive supply chain, which is a great base to build upon for future growth.”
Hayfield has eight live sites in Oxfordshire, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Wiltshire and Buckinghamshire, where executive family homes are being constructed in prime semi-rural and edge of town settings. The expansion of the commercial department is in line with Hayfield seeking to deliver a turnover of £150m during 2022. The company is gearing up to deliver 500 homes annually, supported by a five-year landbank.
