HELP TO BUY EVENT
Hayfield Homes and selling agent Connells will be hosting a free Help to Buy event giving house hunters the opportunity to find out more about the scheme. Come along on Saturday 21st July from 12 until 4 for clear and easy to understand advice from their specialist teams. Whether it’s translating the jargon or simply crunching the numbers, this event has been arranged to help you make informed decisions about buying a new home with Help to Buy.
Being held at Hayfield Views, a collection of 2, 3, 4 & 5 bedroom homes on the edge of Great Bourton village, visitors will be able to walk around the impressive 5 bedroom show home and see how far the site has come. Families can also enjoy free ice cream from a vintage ice cream van!

FIRST PURCHASERS SETTLING IN
Carol and David Kingerlee, the first purchasers to move into Hayfield Views, are settling into village life and are thrilled to have made the decision to move. After seeing the signage and viewing the plans for the Hornton, the couple immediately reserved the home off-plan,“We fell in love with the close-knit community in Great Bourton. We hadn’t planned on moving, but when we saw the plans for Hayfield Views, we just knew it was the right thing to do.”
VIP GUEST VISIT
A handful of special VIP guests came to HayfieldViews and were kitted out in mini hard hats and high-vis jackets, ready to learn all about construction and health and safety. Cropredy Primary School children and council members enjoyed lots of activities, including an exciting digger demonstration. Headteacher, Hilary Stevens, said of the visit, “Our pupils have seen the changes at Hayfield Views from afar, so it was a real treat to be shown around and given a tour of the new show home.”
Hayfield Homes also made a donation to the school as part of its Commitment to the Community programme, as well as pledging to donate £1,000 to the school from the sale of any home at Hayfield Views when buyers quote #HayfieldforFamilies.
AWARD-WINNING SITE MANAGERS
Hayfield Homes is incredibly proud to announce that its Site Managers at its first two sites (Hayfield Chase in Tiddington and Hayfield Views in Great Bourton) have been placed among the top 3% in the country, after both receiving the prestigious NHBC Pride in the Job Quality Award.
THE PLACE TO BE
There is never a dull moment in and around Great Bourton. The village pub, The Bell Inn, has reopened, having been revitalised into the buzzing hub of the Bourtons, serving much-loved Hook Norton Ales and locally sourced food. Also, one of the most exciting calendar events of the year, the Fairport Cropredy Convention, is coming up this August. The folk and rock music festival has a cracking line-up including Oysterband, Fairport Acoustic and Kate Rusby.
