Hayfield Donates £500 to Hanslope Pre-School Christmas Fayre

Hayfield, the WhatHouse? Housebuilder of the Year, donated £500 to the 2021 Hanslope Pre-School Christmas Fayre. The money was used to buy the presents for the Christmas Grotto, handed out by Santa to children from the Buckinghamshire village.

The Grotto was attended by close to 100 young children. In total, the Fayre has generated over £1,000 in much-needed funds, which will go towards purchasing equipment and learning resources. Catering for children aged two to four, Hanslope Pre-School is located within walking distance of Hayfield Walk. The newly opened development is the first to feature Hayfield’s ‘Green Revolution’ technology.

Debbie Watson, Chair of Hanslope Pre-School said: “Since the first National Lockdown for Covid-19 in March 2020, it hasn’t been possible to raise funds for the Pre-School in all the ways we have before. We were therefore delighted to be able to go ahead and hold the Christmas Fayre this year, as it’s an event the whole community looks forward to.

“Thanks to Hayfield’s generous donation, we were able to pre-purchase presents for Santa to hand out to the children. The funds raised by the Christmas Fayre will now be spent purchasing new resources to enhance the learning experience at the Pre-School.” 

Accessed off Castlethorpe Road, only 51 of the 101 homes remain for sale at Hayfield Walk, with the popularity of the scheme being attributed to Hayfield’s ‘Green Revolution’ technology, which is striking a chord with eco-aware homeowners. Each home is being installed with Air Source Heat Pumps, energy-efficient underfloor heating, enhanced insulation, the smartest electric vehicle fast-charging points available and ultra-fast broadband.
