Hayfield Donates Funds to Clifton All Saints Academy for an Outdoor Classroom

November 9, 2021

Five-star housebuilder Hayfield has donated £500 to create an all-weather outdoor learning space at Clifton All Saints Academy in central Bedfordshire.

The new facility has been purpose-designed for the school’s 30 year 1 children, all aged five or six. The year 1 children moved into a new classroom in September, at the start of the 2021/2 academic year. An adjoining patio space has been utilised to create the new outdoor learning environment.

Rebecca Byrne, Headteacher at Clifton All Saints Academy said: “Our Year 1 teacher Miss Pepper and the children have all worked so hard to create the new outdoor learning environment. With the winter weather approaching, we are very grateful to Hayfield for the generous donation, as it will enable us to pay for a canopy to ensure the space can be used all year round.”

Clifton All Saints Academy is an Ofsted Outstanding-rated Church of England village school, catering for children aged four to nine. It is situated less than half a mile away from Hayfield Gate, the multi award-winning developer’s highly popular scheme of 95 family homes.

Kelly Sharman, Sales and Marketing Director for Hayfield said: “It is a really important part of Hayfield’s social values that we do all we can to support the communities where our developments are. We are delighted to provide a donation for Clifton All Saints Academy’s outdoor classroom and look forward to welcoming the children to Hayfield Gate in the near future for a site tour and safety talk.”

Located off New Road and Hitchin Lane, Hayfield Gate has set a new standard of luxury for the area. The aspirational development features sound-reducing studies, bespoke kitchens, ROCA/Laufen bathrooms, heritage bronze ironmongery, Farrow & Ball paint, Hammonds wardrobes, feature lighting in key rooms and ultra-fast broadband.

Over 90% of the executive homes have already been matched with buyers at the off-plan stage. Prices for the current release range from £355,000 for a two-bedroom Ickwell design, to £560,000 for a four-bedroom Astwick home. Hayfield provides a Key Worker Discount of £5,000 to all those who meet the criteria.

Hayfield Gate is within easy reach of the amenities in Clifton and the neighbouring market town of Shefford. The next conurbation is the small town of Arlesey. Arlesey Railway Station provides a regular 35-minute service to London St Pancras and Blackfriars, as well as trains to Stevenage and Peterborough.
