Hayfield Park in the Bedfordshire Village of Bromham is 45% Sold

June 23, 2022

45% of the Hayfield Park development in the picturesque Bedfordshire village of Bromham has been matched with buyers at the off-plan stage.

Accessed off Stagsden Road within the Borough of Bedford, a range of 80 three- and four-bedroom family homes are available to reserve, priced from £455,000 to £720,000. Part-exchange is currently available on selected homes, while the £10,750 cost of Stamp Duty will be paid by Hayfield on ‘home eight’, a three-bedroom Chacombe, which is on the market for £485,000. As an added incentive for reservations made before the end of June, buyers will receive a £1,000 John Lewis voucher to go towards their new home furnishings.

Hayfield’s zero-carbon ready development will offer a greener way of living, thanks to air source heat pumps, energy-efficient underfloor heating, electric vehicle fast-charging points, 100% renewable energy, and ultra-fast broadband. The new homes will achieve a high EPC-B rating and are eligible for low rate ‘green mortgages’, which are offered by a growing number of mainstream lenders.

Shelley West, Regional Sales Director of WhatHouse? ‘Housebuilder of the Year’ Hayfield said: “Hayfield Park has been so well received in the local marketplace and we are delighted with how many homes have already been reserved off-plan. Given the energy price hikes of late, we are very pleased that this zero-carbon ready development will enable our homeowners to enjoy a more eco-efficient way of living.

“In contrast to the highly sophisticated interiors, the architectural detailing for the 80 homes is traditional, to maximise kerb appeal and reflect the style of homes in this sought-after Bedfordshire village. To mark the fact the first houses will be available to move into from September, we are offering part-exchange, or incentives, on the three- and four-bedroom family homes that are currently available.”

Off-plan sales are being taken from a dedicated Sales Lounge that has been created at Hayfield Gate in the Bedfordshire village of Clifton. A large interactive model of the Hayfield Park scheme and touchscreen enables interested parties to take a closer look at the site layout and various house designs.

Hayfield Park will incorporate landscaped Public Open Space, and a fully equipped children’s play area. The spacious development is within easy reach of the range of amenities and schooling within Bromham, which is one of the larger villages within the area. Located only two miles away is Bedford Railway Station – a key hub for London commuters – which provides a 47-minute commuter service into London St Pancras.

Each Hayfield Park kitchen will feature a range of built-in Bosch appliances, with larger homes enjoying impressive bi-fold doors leading out to the private garden. Each dedicated study or smallest bedroom will feature improved sound performance construction to create the ideal work from home environment. Fitted wardrobes will be installed into the principal bedrooms of all four-bedroom homes. Other features include ROCA bathrooms, Minoli ceramic tiles, heritage bronze ironmongery, Farrow & Ball paint and Ring doorbells.

Hayfield Park will feature a generous provision of private garaging and off-road and visitor parking spaces. The brick, architectural detailing, and materials are reflective of the surrounding area and Bromham’s historic village core. The density of the development is much lower than typical new build schemes, and the design of the extensive public realm across the scheme adheres to Secured By Design Standards.

The Hayfield Park Sales Lounge is located at Hayfield Gate, Haycock Gardens, Clifton, Bedfordshire, SG17 5QN. It is open seven days a week from 10am – 5pm. For all enquiries, please call 0800 161 5548, or email HayfieldPark@HayfieldHomes.co.uk.
