Hayfield has made two senior promotions to director level.
After previously heading up their respective departments, Sara Hope becomes Human Resources Director while Jon Watts is promoted to Procurement & Supply Chain Director.
Sara joined Hayfield, WhatHouse? Housebuilder of the Year 2021, in the summer of 2021 to strengthen its people development and provide specialist in-house HR expertise during a period of rapid expansion.
With more than 25 years of HR experience, Sara, who recently became a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership and Management, leads her team in managing change programmes to support business growth and promote employee engagement.
She said: “People are key to business success, and the development of our people and investment in the wellbeing of all our teams are priorities for Hayfield.
“With more than 130 employees, the HR team is focused on our ambitious and comprehensive talent attraction and retention programmes, creating agile working practices and developing our bespoke, employee-centric, well-being programme, which was nominated in its inaugural year in the 2022 Housebuilder Awards.”
Jon Watts joined Hayfield at the end of 2021 in a newly created role to help drive the company’s continued growth. Subsequently, the joint commercial and procurement department became two standalone teams with the aim of increasing efficiencies across the build cycle.
Jon said: “In order to deliver Hayfield’s five-year business plan it is vitally important that we implement robust commercial processes while being able to remain flexible with our supply chain.
“I am excited to develop our supply chain relationships as we implement a procurement strategy that supports the business in achieving its short and long-term objectives, and look forward to exploring and delivering some exciting new opportunities.”
